B.        Planning of Future and Ongoing District Public Outreach Efforts

 

1. Water Softener brochure
   Committee discussed water softener alternative brochure and website designs.

 

1. Don’t Flush Wipes campaign

Discussed a campaign for “Do Not Flush Wipes”, including a door hanger, sign on Main Street, truck decals,  

 

1. Cityhood Celebration

Committee discussed sponsorship and booth for the July 4^th Cityhood Celebration in Oakley. Committee authorized a $1,000 sponsorship to the Cityhood Celebration which includes a 10x10 foot booth, banner and advertisement during the event. The committee discussed the recycled water fill station as possible use for advertising.  

 

1. 70^th Anniversary
   Discussed invitation pricing and showed some layout ideas. Sponsorship package and program advertising with history booklet were also discussed.

 

1. Biosolids
   The biosolids program is being put on hold for the time being until further research can be discussed.

 

6.  Distinction Award preparation

                    Discussed timelines and policy book.

 

 

7.  Newsletter

Briefly discussed moving date for summer newsletter mid-August rather than first of September and changing inside section to 70^th anniversary information. Still working on idea of 6 page newsletter.

C.  Discussion on future items for Outreach Committee meetings

On agenda for next month. Recycled Water Fill Station, 70^th Anniversary and Wipes Campaign.
