A. Public Comments---No
public comments
B. The Minutes of the April 10,
2014 Meeting were approved.
C. The
July 22, 2014 memo from Dave Smith to the committee concerning the lateral
maintenance investigation was discussed at length and the consensus of the
committee was to table the idea because it would wind up costing the District
instead of being a profitable venture.
Also with the Sanitary Sewer Overflows of the laterals becoming a
District liability it would place the District in jeopardy of third party
lawsuits.
D. The NEXGEN Maintenance Management
Computer System was presented by Louis Solana and he has 50% of the Preventive
Maintenance tasks added to the program. By
the end of the year he estimates the PM program will be fully implemented. The Mapping
module is complete with CCTV reports added as new lines are
inspected. The Training module is
complete. The Vender/Contractor module
is 30% complete. The Employee module is
fully populated. The Inventory module
has not been started.
E. Next Meeting Agenda Items: The next meeting was set for September
18, 2014 and the new shop equipment building will be presented for committee
comments/approval.
F. Adjournment. The meeting adjourned at
11:55 a.m.
